Yessss, we welcome Ecstatic Dance DJ Jethro back on October 24th!
First, a cacao ritual (heart opener) and a short Heartdancing® session with Tanja Faber to warm you up for the dance and connect with your fellow dancers. Afterward, Jethro takes over with his unique style of music.
About Jethro:
Jethro Obadja Rahajaan worked for years as a professional dancer and massage therapist. He fell in love with Ecstatic Dance at Club Lite in 2015, and soon after, thanks to his somatic expertise and high sensitivity for creating the perfect setting, he was asked to lead the opening ceremonies at Odessa Amsterdam. Despite his immense love for dancing, and especially for Ecstatic Dance, it wasn't until December 2020 that he finally decided to try his hand at DJ controller.
From there, his career as an Ecstatic Dance DJ suddenly and unexpectedly took off. Before he knew it, he was playing Ecstatic Dance events throughout the Netherlands and has now provided a large part of Europe and Central America with profound dance journeys!
His background as a dancer helps him enormously in sensing and "reading" dancers, subtly taking them on his special and unique musical journeys. He doesn't shy away from incorporating both depth and significant peaks, creating a remarkably varied musical journey during all his DJ sets.
His wonderfully idiosyncratic style is characterized as highly varied, with plenty of bass, melodrama, poetry, a multitude of different world music influences, humor, and a healthy dose of passion and fire.

We dance barefoot, without words, without drugs, alcohol, or coffee, with respect for each other.
No phones or bags in the dance hall. Bring your own water bottle and mug for tea.
